¹ Grandmology LLC ("the LLC") provides educational and informational seminars on the subjects of finance and law, but not personalized investment or legal advice. The LLC is an affiliate of Grandmology Corporation ("the Corporation"), a not-for-profit entity, which owns a minority stake in the LLC to further its goal of retirement literacy for women. The Corporation is currently pending 501(c)(8) status with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Under 501(c)(8), the Corporation's lodges ("Clubhouses") are approved venues for member lodging, coworking, and official fundraiser events, such as the Granny Gala ("Official Events"). Official Events are held for the fraternal benefit of members and the public by appointed Directors under chartered bylaws of the Corporation ("Clubs"). Unlike Official Events, which are open to the public, only members of the Corporation are provided internal benefits to hedge against potential loss of personal income, such as annual estate planning or guaranteed international lodging. No member of the Corporation is required to attend a for-profit seminar of the LLC, and attendees of the LLC seminars do not automatically become members of the Corporation. Only members of the Corporation are eligible for the benefits of the tier(s) described in their membership.
